Honey and Fruit Muesli

Richer, more complicated version of the basic Bircher Muesli, Honey and Fruit Muesli makes a nourishing and delicious breakfast dish. Or it may be served as a pudding for a family meal. If you prefer the rolled oats soft, soak them in

3 tablespoons of milk for

2 hours.


1 large orange, peeled, pith removed and separated into segments

2 eating apples, cored and chopped

1 tablespoon raisins

8 black grapes, quartered and seeded

1 banana, chopped

4 tablespoons orange or grapefruit juice

2 tablespoons yogurt

7 tablespoons rolled oats

4 dried apricots, finely chopped (optional) 4 tablespoons clear honey

In a large mixing bowl, combine the orange, apples, raisins, grapes, banana, refrigerator and leave to chill for at least

1 hour before serving.
