Garlic Dip

appealing appetizer for a buffet cocktail party, Garlic Dip may be served surrounded by vegetable crudites, pieces of salami and cooked ham.


6 oz. unsalted cream cheese

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tablespoon double cream

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except the paprika beating them with a wooden spoon until they form a smooth paste.

Spoon the dip into a shallow serving bowl and sprinkle the paprika on top. Place the bowl in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes before serving.
