Garden pools

Most people are attracted to water by its sight and sound. A garden pool can satisfy the desire to be near water, or to see it, or even play in it one way or another.

There are types of pools to satisfy almost every taste. A shallow reflecting pool may be all you need. Or, you may want a pool as big as the floor of your living room.

The first step is to prepare the concrete floor. Once poured, the floor needs only two days to set up before the brick walls can be laid -but walk lightly on the floor. Below-grade brick walls are made of double rows of bricks laid end to end to make a wall 8 inches thick. Bricks for the top course are laid side by side. The mortar joints should be ½ inch thick and the finished walls should be coated with a waterproofing compound.
