If you don’t have Zubrowka vodka, any other type may be substituted. Serve this refreshing dessert with lots of whipped cream.
6 fresh figs, sliced
2 large ripe peaches, stoned and sliced
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
12 large white grapes, halved and seeded
1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
1 teaspoon very finely grated lemon rind
2 fl. oz. Zubrowka vodka
Arrange the fruit decoratively in a large, shallow serving dish. Sprinkle over the sugar and lemon rind and pour over the vodka. Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes, basting the fruit with the vodka from time to time.
Remove the dish from the refrigerator and serve at once.
