Zorrell Cheese and Ham Rolls may cither be served as a light luncheon, accompanied by new potatoes and French beans or, greater quantities, as part of a buffet table at a party.
4 oz. Rieotta cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1 celery stalk, trimmed and finely chopped
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
4 thin slices Gruyere cheese, ABOUT 4- x
6-inches
4 thin slices cooked ham
1 teaspoon prepared French mustard
Place the ricotta cheese, mayonnaise, walnuts, chopped celery, salt and pepper in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Using a wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
Place the slices of cheese on a flat working surface and lay the ham slices on top of them. Spread the mustard thinly over the ham. Spoon a quarter of the ricotta cheese mixture on to each slice of ham. Carefully roll the ham and cheese up around the cheese mixture to form a cylinder and secure with cocktail sticks.
Place the rolls on a serving plate and serve immediately.
