This is an unusual dessert from Haiti and its name belies koto delicious it is.
2 avocados, stoned, peeled and cut into
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
3 oz. firm cream cheese, cubed
2 tablespoons grated coconut
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons strong black coffee
10 fl. oz. double cream cups heavy cream, stiffly whipped
In a large, deep serving dish, combine the avocados, bananas and cream cheese.
In a bowl, mix together the coconut, sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the coconut mixture over the fruit and place the dish in the refrigerator to chill.
Stir the coffee into the cream and pour it over the avocado mixture and serve.
