A really refreshing and unusual dessert, Yungchow Fruit Surprise is simply deli-cious. If fresh figs and peaches are not available, canned, drained fruit may be substituted and the amount of sugar reduced.
8 fresh figs, sliced
4 large fresh peaches, blanched, peeled, stoned and sliced
10 0. oz. sour cream
2 tablespoons soft brown sugar
Place the figs and peaches in a medium-sized shallow serving dish. Add the sour cream and mix well to blend. Sprinkle over the brown sugar.
Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes before serving.
