Yolk of Egg Italian-Style

This is an extremely easy dessert to prepare and, since it is very rich, a small amount will satisfy normal appetites.

Serve with Langues de Chats.

4 egg yolks

12 oz. castor sugar

2 tablespoons Creme de Cacao

Place the egg yolks in a medium-sized mixing bowl and, using a wire whisk, beat the egg yolks until they are pale and thick.

Add the sugar and continue beating for 5 minutes or until the mixture is very thick and smooth.

Spoon equal amounts of the mixture into small individual ramekins and spoon equal amounts of Creme de Cacao over each mixture. Place the ramekins in the refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes before serving.
