Yogurt and Orange Jelly makes a nutritious and appetizing dessert – ideal for serving after a rich meal.
10 fl. oz. fresh orange juice
5 fl. oz. yogurt n -V v
16 oz. canned mandarin oranges, drained
½ oz. gelatine, dissolved in
1 tablespoons hot water
1 orange, peeled, white pith removed, seeded and segmented
Pour the orange juice into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Gradually add the yogurt, beating constantly with a wire whisk or rotary beater. Add the mandarin oranges and then stir in the dissolved gelatine.
Pour the mixture into a glass serving bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes or until the jelly has set. Remove the bowl from the refrigerator, decorate with the orange segments and serve immediately.
