Worcestershire Sauce

Worcestershire sauce is a commercially manufactured dark brown sauce which originated in the town of Worcester in England.

The sauce is made from spices, vinegar, soy sauce, molasses or dark treacle, chillis, garlic, shallots and tropical fruit.

It is used as a flavouring agent in soups, stews, casseroles and sauces.

Worcestershire sauce is also added to cocktails and other drinks which contain tomato juice.
