Vermouth Punch is a refreshing and really delightful drink to serve on hot summer evenings. It also makes an ideal drink to serve at a buffet party.
ABOUT 2 PINTS 16 ice cubes, crushed 26 fl. oz. (1 bottle) chilled dry vermouth 4 fl. oz. orange-flavoured liqueur 4 fl. oz. brandy 3 drops orange bitters 14 fl. oz. chilled soda water 1 orange, thinly sliced and pips removed 1 lemon, thinly sliced supper or lunch.
Place a medium-sized punch bowl in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.
Remove the punch bowl from the refrigerator and arrange the crushed ice on the bottom. Pour over the vermouth, orange- flavoured liqueur, brandy, orange bitters and soda water and stir well.
Float the orange and lemon slices on top and serve the punch at once.
