A delicious mixture of sugared fruit on toast, Toast Sevilla is excellent served for a leisurely Sunday breakfast or brunch after bacon and eggs.
4 thick slices white bread, toasted
1 oz. butter oranges, peeled, white pith removed and segmented 1 banana, peeled and sliced 4 teaspoons soft brown sugar
Preheat the grill to hot.
Place the toast on a board and spread it with the butter. Arrange the oranges and banana on the slices of toast. Sprinkle the fruit with the sugar. Place the toast on the grill rack and grill for 2 minutes or until the sugar has melted and caramelized. Remove the pan from the heat. Transfer the toast to warmed individual serving dishes.
