This recipe for Spaghetti with Butter and Cheese is simplicity itself and, although it may sound rather uninteresting, is really a joy to eat. This dressing may be used with other pasta.
1 lb. spaghetti, cooked, drained and kept hot
6 oz. butter, cut into small pieces 8 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated
Place the spaghetti in a large, deep serving dish and add the butter and 4 ounces of the cheese.
Using two large spoons, toss the mixture until the butter and cheese have melted. Serve immediately, with the remaining cheese in a separate bowl.
