If you often feel short of breath and are not suffering from some identifiable respiratory disorder, then you may be lacking iron. Eat more of the following foods:
– shellfish
– liver, red meat, blood pudding, etc.
– eggs (especially yolks)
– cocoa
– dried legumes
– dried and oleaginous fruit
Dairy products and most fruit and green vegetables (except parsley) contain very little iron.
