Refreshing and beguiling, Scotch Mist is a simple cocktail to make. It should be served in a well-chilled cocktail glass.
2 fl. oz. Scotch whisky
1 lemon slice, halved
2 ice cubes, crushed
Pour the whisky into a cocktail shaker or screw-top jar. Twist the lemon slice halves on to the whisky to extract the juice from the flesh and the oil from the skin. Drop the lemon into the shaker or jar. Spoon in the crushed ice and screw the lid on tightly. Shake the cocktail vigorously several times.
Unscrew the lid and pour the contents into a chilled cocktail glass.
Serve at once.
