Hardy evergreen, shrubby plants, suitable for cultivation in the borders or on the rockery.
Plant in autumn or spring in- any ordinary soil, with a little sand added. They will thrive best in an open, sunny position. Increase by cuttings taken in autumn.

S. incana also has silver-grey foliage, but has yellow flowers. Flowering period June-July. 12 in.
