Popovcrs are individual batter puddings which may be made plain for serving with roast meat, or they may have a sweet or savoury filling.
To make popovers, heat a patty tin in a hot oven 425°F (Gas Mark 7, 220°C) for 3 minutes. Remove the tin from the oven, coat the inside of each cup with 1 teaspoon of oil and return the tin to the oven for 5 minutes. Remove the tin from the oven and fill each cup two-thirds full with CREPE batter. Place the patty tin in the oven and bake the popovcrs for 10 to 15 minutes or until they have puffed up and are deep golden brown.
Remove the tin from the oven and serve immediately, if you are serving the popovcrs plain.
