Pomelo

A citrus fruit from which the GRAPEFRUIT is descended, Pomelo, sometimes called shaddock, is larger than the grapefruit but resembles it in shape. The skin is thick, the flesh pink in colour, acid and coarse in texture.

Pomelo are not produced commercially for export but are grown for domestic consumption in South-East Asia and other tropical regions.
