A gin-based cocktail, Pink Lady, as with most cocktails, has many variations. In this recipe we suggest adding lime juice but this may be omitted if preferred.
2 fl. oz. gin
2 tablespoons brandy
1 teaspoon grenadine
1 egg white, lightly beaten juice of lime (optional)
1 mint sprig (optional)
Place the gin, brandy and grenadine in a cocktail shaker or large screw-topped jar. Add the beaten egg white and lime juice, if you are using it. Screw the cocktail shaker together or screw the top on the jar, and shake well.
Pour the mixture into a cocktail glass, garnish with the mint sprig if you are using it, and serve at once.
