Parsnips, Glazed

A particularly delicious way to serve parsnips, Parsnips, Glazed goes especially well with grilled or roast meat.

4 SERVINGS

2 oz. butter, melted

12 small whole parsnips, cooked

2 oz. soft brown sugar

Preheat the oven to fairly hot 375°F (Gas Mark 5, 190 C).

Pour the butter into a medium-sized baking dish. Add the parsnips, sprinkle over the sugar and place the dish in the oven.

Bake, turning occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until the parsnips are well glazed.

Remove the baking dish from the oven and transfer the parsnips to a warmed serving dish. Serve immediately.
