You can treat acne internally by adding more Vitamin A-rich foods to your diet.
Sources of Vitamin A in the form of retinol:
– fish liver and the liver of other animals
– fat contained in dairy products
– egg yolk
Sources in the form of carotene:
– carrots
– spinach
– tomatoes
– lettuce and leafy greens in general
– asparagus
– corn
– melon
– apricots, oranges, etc.
Dried fruit contains more Vitamin A than fresh fruit. Adolescents can try a diet rich in walnuts to help control an acne problem. It’s also important to cut down as much as possible on:

– processed meats
– fried foods
– alcohol
– coffee

Vitamin B6 – good sources include:
– whole grains and sprouted grains
– whole grain bread
