NUTRITIONAL CURE FOR NEURALGIA

Neuralgia refers to pain (often severe) along the course of a nerve, or in its area of distribution.

The main function of Vitamin B12 is to help produce red blood cells. For that reason it makes an effective treatment for neuralgia, as well as anaemia.

Good sources of Vitamin B12 are:

– meat, liver, kidney

– brewer’s yeast

– milk and dairy products

– egg yolk

– oysters

Vegetables contain no B12, which is why persons on a strictly vegetarian (vegan) diet should make sure to take some form of B12 supplement.
