NUTRITIONAL CURE FOR ATHEROMA

The term atheroma may refer to a degenerated artery or to an encysted tumor in a vein. The important thing, as far as nutrition is concerned, is to limit your intake of all types of fat except for polyunsaturated fatty acids, which lower triglyceride levels, making the blood more fluid and thus facilitating circulation. Good sources include:

– sunflower seed, corn and grape seed oil

– margarine made from sunflower seeds or corn

– fish and seafood

– fish oil

Two or three fish meals a week should provide you with an ideal amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids, and help remedy the problem.
