Marmite

A marmite (mahr-meet) is a tall metal or earthenware lidded cooking pot, in which soups or stocks are usually cooked. The classic domestic marmite is made of earthenware and has an attractive round shape. It is used for the cooking and serving of PETITE MARMITE soup.
