Lights is the name applied to the lungs of pigs, bullocks or sheep. Lights, obtainable from most butchers, are very cheap and are usually steamed or boiled and used in the preparation of animal foods, commercially or at home. They are also occasionally included in pates, sausages, faggots and other made-up dishes.
