This marvellously quick and easy-to-prepare dessert is both delicious and nourishing. It may be served hot, straight from the grill or chilled.
3 bananas, thinly sliced
3 large oranges, peeled, pith removed and separated into segments
1 pint yogurt
4 tablespoons brown sugar
Preheat the grill to high.
Place the bananas and oranges in a medium-sized flameproof dish. Pour over the yogurt and mix well.
Sprinkle over the sugar and place the dish under the grill . Grill for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the sugar caramelizes.
Remove the dish from the heat and serve at once, or chill in the refrigerator before serving.
