Brazil Nut and Chive Spread

This unusual spread of chives, cream cheese and Brazil nuts may be served on small circles of toast as a cocktail savoury

or as an elegant snack.

3 oz. cream cheese

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon finely chopped chives

2 oz. Brazil nuts, finely chopped

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, using a

wooden spoon blend the cream cheese thoroughly with the cayenne.

Mix in the chives and then stir in the Brazil nuts. Turn the spread into a serving dish and keep it, covered with plastic

wrap, in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it.
