Brandy punch makes a delightful aperitif with the addition of just a little soda water. For a long cool drink add more ice
cubes and soda water.
1½ teaspoons castor sugar 4 fl. oz. brandy 3 ice cubes
1 teaspoon lemon juice
soda water 1 slice of lemon 1 mint sprig
Mix the sugar and brandy in a tall glass and stir with a spoon to dissolve the sugar. Add the ice and lemon juice. Add
enough soda water to fill the glass. Garnish the punch with the lemon slice and mint sprig.
