Brandy Cocktail

A classic Brandy Cocktail this is usually served before dinner, or sometimes after a formal lunch.


2 teaspoon castor sugar

2 drops Angostura bitters

3 fl. oz. brandy

2 ice cubes

3 strips orange rind

Place the sugar, bitters and the brandy in a cocktail shaker, or covered container, and stir with a spoon to dissolve the sugar. Add the ice cubes. Twist the strips of orange rind and drop them into the shaker. Cover the shaker and shake

vigorously. Pour into a chilled glass.
